Default Sidewall delamination

An area of the side wall just below a window has delaminated, probably due to water leaking in at the corner of the window. Is this repairable by a dealer? I think it will be an expensive fix, and I was planning to sell the trailer this year!

Yes. A dealer can fix it and yes it will be expensive.

The fiberglass is only a few paper thicknesses thick. If it delaminates you need to buy new fiberglass which comes in a roll. The wood is not necessarily rotted, although that can happen especially with the front. But the front on many of the older trailers was laminated onto cardboard which was more moldable to the front curve. These were especially prone to delamination. Ask me how I know. I've been done that road. Sell the trailer and move on.

Can you post some pictures of what is going on with the fiberglass?

So what has happened is that the fiberglass is glued to a very thin luan panel. The water has gotten into the luan and caused it to expand pushing the fiberglass out and it has either dried out or if the water keeps seeping into it, it starts to rot. In order to fix it you basically have to replace the full side panel, can be done but not worth the expense. If you have full coverage insurance they might just total it as you can get black mold in there, nasty stuff.
