Default Slide out question

Hi all, I just bought a new 210 FBS and I'm wondering if its better to store the trailer with the slide in or out. I'm in Arizona so I won't be storing it all winter, it's just parked in the driveway & I intend to use it at least once a month year round. Any thoughts?

I don't have a slide , but everyone I know leaves their's in all the time except when camping. I believe you actually get a tighter seal when it is in.

Mine sits with the slide open during winter storage without problems, and it rains here 9 months out of the year.

The biggest advantage to storing with the slide in is that the seals that drag along the top and sides of the slide will be protected from weathering and UV damage. There is a "primary" pressure seal along the face of the slide that "weather proofs" the contact area when retracted and with the slide in, the more delicate drag seals are protected from the elements along with the wide area of the pressure seal.

The seals will last longer with the slide in...
