Default Slide-out Seal Replacement

2013 210UDS. Exterior Slide-out seals (all four side) are falling apart, badly. The material has become gummy, then shreds and falls to ground (removal from shoes requires blade, acetone/WD40 and elbow grease - don't ask). After three weeks of emails and phone calls back and forth with slide-out manufacturer then CruiserRV, I was told to take the trailer to Camping World.

There are videos about the removal and installation; it looks tedious but not difficult.

There are hundreds of "d" seals, with and without flaps, etc (if that is in fact what these are called). Does anyone have resources for identifying then buying these seals or gaskets, or whatever?

I cannot afford to pay someone to do this labor intensive job. And I suspect I could find the seals much cheaper online vs at Camping World if I knew what to look for and where to look. Because of their current condition I'm not even sure what they are made of - I don't think rubber becomes gummy.?.

First time CruiserRV has disappointed me so they get a pass.

But the seals on my ten-year-old Arctic Fox looked brand new when I sold it – go figure.

Thanks

Default Replacement Seal

Hi there! We are in a similar situation. We have to rebuild our slide-out. We cut a small piece of the seals we needed and took them to the Camping World repair shop who sold us the parts we needed. I would suggest finding a local RV repair shop and bringing a small piece of the seal with you so you are able to get the correct replacement part.

I located another source for RV seals; doors, slide-outs, etc.

Check it out.
