Default Solar Power Rule #1

Ican't believe I'm even sharing this.but you just never know. I was boondocking in Fairfield, CT for 4 nights. The first day and a half, poured rain. The rest of time beautiful sunny days. I'm all excited, solar panel should provide excellent coverage. I get back to RV about10pm ready to shower and relax after a long weekend of working..hahaha, I have a dim pne light of power left. I quick put the slide in, check everything, all seems fine. I go outside check everything and yup... I parked UNDER A. TREE. So far 0 for 2 in using my power backup. I go out again in a week...I'll try to stay away from trees!!!
