Default Stove/Vent Replacement for 189FBS (Outside)?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone know where I could order a replacement vent for the stove outside the 189FBS.

The photo attached is the yellowing vent outside the camper, which also the prongs to keep in place is broken, so would need to be replaced.

I went to local rv places and to be honest, none of them were very helpful.

Any help from you guys would be appreciated

Tim

Ebay has them
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Polar-White-...item2c6380a753
I would double check measurements, they have others.
Camping World has them also among other RV catalogs

My tabs also broke, you must replace/reseal complete part you cannot just replace swinging door.

I put a strip of gorrilla tape(good HD duct tape) 2 years ago at the top inside flap of the door and its holding up great, you cant see it and it fuctions properly.

Thanks for the recommendation!

It looks like your camper is the similar to mine, as I have the 2008 189FBS, so hopefully that part would fit. I'll double check measurements though.

I believe the range hood in my 2009 X210 is a Ventline, rather than the Heng's. Not sure what years/models came with which manufacturer, but the photo looks identical to the one I have. (Which has also yellowed a bit.)

You can probably get a better idea by checking the websites for Ventline and Heng's Industries and taking a few measurements. It looks like the Heng's vent needs a 4" X 10.88" opening and the ventline needs 3 3/4" X 10 1/2" and is available with 2 collar lengths.

Ideally if you can find the model number & brand for your range hood you should be able to figure out which replacement vent model # you need.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if things such as those vents are universal, so thought I'd ask. Obviously, the most logical way to find out for sure is check the model

At this moment, it's not imperative that we replace it, but it just looks so out of place that it's yellowed compared to the rest of the camper.

Thanks again for both of your help!

Default Stove Vent

After our first trip the stove vent closure flap was gone. Your idea about using the reinforcement tape sounds like a good idea. For my replacement unit of course. Thanks
