Default Tent for generators

I bought a dog tent on amazon to house my generators when boondocking.

I thought the GenTents made for the Honda 2000i's were kinda spendy at $160 - $195 each.
So, I found a large dog tent on Ebay over a year ago ... think I paid about 35 for it and both Honda's fit inside with room to spare. It folds up so takes less space than a 2 person dome tent.

Nice idea. As long as there is plenty of space to anything hot like the exhaust- potential fire hazard

I lined the inside the dog tent with a non-flammable material - easily hand stitched in place. Looked for asbestos but can't get that anymore, thanks to government regulations.

Don't recall where I got the non-flammable material but it was similar or same as this: https://www.amazon.com/HEFUTE-Retard...3004707&sr=8-1

Got the tent, perfect fit for both generators, plenty of vents, going to work just fine. I will run the generators outside the tent mostly but have plenty of room inside the tent if need be. Bought to keep them out of the rain, and when camping in southern utah keep the sand out of them.
