Twin Bed mod?

Hi,
Potential new 2010 X210 owner. The unit we are looking has a queen bed
with a cabinet above the window and a small drawer/shelf "box" on each side of the queen head. We want to take those drawer boxes out and convert two two twin beds (DIY). Can anybody tell me how those wall or small drawer cabinet are attach to the head wall and top of pass-thru storage? How difficult are they to remove?

You can't remove them. At least not on mine. Those 'shelves" actually extend all the way under the bed and comprise the top of the front of the pass thru storage compartment.

I guess you could modify the pass through storage to accomodate what you have in mind but I think it would be a major modification.
