Default Very noisy air conditioner in 2014 195wbs-suggestions?

Our 2014 Shadow Cruiser 195wbs has a very noisy air conditioner.
Even on low it can drown out conversation. Is this normal or something wrong or are we setting the cooling and fan speed wrong? Any suggestions would be appreciated?

Default Yep -- noisy

My a/c is very noisy, too. Which can be a good thing in an RV park (the only time we use the a/c). Often, there are trains or freeways nearby -- the a/c is like loud white noise.

Default Noisy A/C

Hi MarkRegina,

We have a 2012 214WSD and the A/C is very noisy. Sometimes it's difficult to hear the TV. While in the main living area, if we close the vents on the A/C unit itself, this will eliminate the noise a little bit.

Regards,
Alan

Thanks for the info on the air noise. We'll try the top of closing the vents. Thanks again.

Agree it's normal. When the center vent is open to dump air in the middle of the coach, it's extremely loud. Not as bad when you close to transfer the airflow to the ducts. You can at least watch TV and talk, but it's still noisy due the fact that the blower unit is right above your head.

We just got back from camping and I'm glad the unit is loud. It drowned out the Cicadas in the woods in the back of our camp site, that sounded as if they were a 1000 piece orchestra all playing out of tune.
