Default wall outlets

just a quick question. am I able to plug into any wall outlet with just the battery from the camper. the lights work inside but no power the outlets. when I plug in the 30amp power then the outlets work. tom

The battery puts out 12 volt power -- the outlets are 110, just like a house. So when you are not hooked up to power, the outlets don't work. But there should be at least one 12v "cigarette lighter" style outlet that will work on battery -- I use that to power a small inverter and I then run 110 appliances off of that. But it uses a lot of juice, so we use it as little as possible.
