Water Damage and finding a good repair shop
Hi, am new to this site although I've had my funfinder for 3 years now. We purchased our trailer through Leisure Days in Quebec and noticed after our first winter we had water damage on an inside side wall. We contacted Crusier RV who agreed to replace the roof and any wall panelling that was damaged. We were greatly relieved and took our trailer to Leisure Days in Smith Falls Ontario. They had agreed to do any repair work under warranty and thats were our head aches really began.
When they replaced the panelling they did it on the wrong wall, also there was now damage to the front of the trailer at the top where the outside panelling was now cracked. There were also other minor damage on the inside of the trailer. As we were leaving on vacation, they agreed to do the repairs upon our return. We dropped the trialer off in October and were told the reairs would take about four weeks. By mid December we had heard nothing and started calling them. After a month of calling and also contacting their parent company RV Canada, there was no response from them until early Feburary (they were closed for off season). We finally got our trailer back in March and began noticing other problems. One of which is water damage on the inside front panelling. Does anyone know a good reputable trailer repair shop in The Ottawa Ontario area. We really like our Funfinder trailer and were quite satisfied with Cruiser RV.
