Mounted my wifi repeater antenna to the TV antenna today. This antenna will pick up signals from 5000 ft =/-. Having permanently mounted means no fooling wing setting it up & taking it down. It also keeps it on the trailer - hard to steal when it's on the roof. Added benefit - the yellow pool noodle will make it easy to find the trailer!
It picks up wifi signals for a repeater. In a campground, signals can be pretty weak, especially inside a trailer. This antenna picks up the signal, sends it to a repeater (like a router) and gives me better signal than may laptop or tablet's antenna will get, plus it creates my own network .
I'm using the JefaTech RV Repeater. I've had it for a couple of years. They have a newer version, but this one works for me. Her's a link if you're interested. https://www.jefatech.com/products/rv-repeater-kit
