Default XT-276 slide out problems

We have noticed on our last two camping trips that the slide out goes out as normal but, struggles to retract. It's almost to the point it doesn't want to retract. What would cause this?

Could be out of alignment or a dragging motor. Is the unit level when you retract it? Mines slower coming in even when level but I wouldn't say its straining. I don't trust slides I cross my fingers everytime I push the switch. I researched how to manually push it back in and it looked very complicated and I gave up. It has a control panel that will blink a light code if something going wrong. Mine is located down under bed near hot water tank.

I noticed when I am retracting using the battery, it struggles a little to pull it in. I used some dry lube and lubed it up real well and that helped.

It's level and we are doing it connected to 30A electric with everything else shut off. We have even tried it at two different areas to confirm it's not related to the sights electric output. Called the dealer and it's going in to be looked at on the 30th. Fingers crossed it's simple and under warranty.

From what I've read about slideouts, the biggest cause of a failure is low voltage to the electric drive motors.

Best.

I read somewhere it was best not to operate the slide on battery power if you could avoid it. I always operate mine on shore power or generator. What a way to screw up a trip when the slide won't retract.

What dry lube did you use?

Slides are meant to run on batts if u can't what's the point. Clearly have alignment, drag or crappy batteries. Test your batteries for charge. Most likely alignment or motor drag
