xt245 Ramp issues
I have discovered that my ramp seems to have a crease running the complete bottom edge of my ramp door about 8 inches up from the hinges. This stinks considering I only hauled 2 ATVs 3 times last year. I went to Cruiser Rv and they pushed me ton the door manufacturer. Well they were really no help or guidance. Kind of disappointed me. Its a 2010 I got Late 2011.
Any ways my question to the door company have you ever seen anything like this'd there response a quick no once I provided a few pictures. Hard to see in the pictures but you see it.
Se one question. Can you tell me since you will not help me to fix it. The best way for me to prevent it from getting worse by re-enforcing it somehow. Their response no ideas. Really now they have engineers and I would have hopped some suggestion would have been made.
Needless to say I am very disappointed in these answers and will second think my next Toy Hauler. I love the camper but lack of help is disappointing.
So anyone have suggestions. Also I see no weight limit on the ramp and forgot to ask Cruiser and not seeing anything in my papers. I would certainly think since its a toy hauler the ramp would hold 700 lbs or would hope...
I was thinking of diamond plating it but this would be costly and I have no idea where to find that big of a piece of diamond plate to cover the ramp or what it might do to towing and sway and such.
Anyone have some ideas thoughts or pictures would be appreciated. Trying to have a solution before I uncover it for the year so I can have everything to do something to save it.
