Default 189fbs sits close to truck ?

My spare tire is mounted to the back and if not straight the handle on the tounge jack the rubs cover or couldn't make full rotation.
I upgraded to a electric jack (e-bay) and I had to rotate the jack sideways because it hit cover on a V type dip in my driveway.
Its OK now but still have to be carefull on tight right turns or backing up.
The ball on the friction swaybar also hits on sharp right backups.

I found the campers very manuverable at slight angles, theres no need to go sharply.

Overall i think it handles better being close to truck and makes my wind deflector(+ 1.5 to 2 MPG) work better,

I dont even know its back there sometimes.
Except for long steep hills

You can also get a hitch extender that would buy you a couple more inches if you still need it.

•Has weight capacity that is the lowest of the following
â—¦50% of the hitch's overall weight capacity
â—¦Load rating GTW 3,500 lbs; Tongue 350 lbs

Thanks I saw those
I Dont want to chance it not being strong enough.
I dont have a weight dis hitch W/sway bars (no need just a friction swaybar on the right side )
I could get a longer receiver but im all right now,if I dont angle it sharply backing up.
The electric jack works great (under $150 ebay)

Ya, I've never actually used one of these things. It might add some more play as well. Sounds like you've got it covered though.
