Default 2014 Fun Finder F-266KIRB & 2014 Silverado

Our 2014 Silverado 1500 has 355hp and with the 3.42 rear can tow up to 9900lbs and has no problem handling the 266KIRB. I haven't had any problems with sway using the Equa-l-zer w/d hitch also, it has plenty of power for hills. I'm mentioning this because before purchasing, I wanted to know how this combination would do and couldn't find much info on it.

Great to hear! I picked up a 2014 Sierra with the same gearing last month and have eagerly been waiting for the snow the melt to hook er up and try her out! I only have a 189FD, so a fair bit lighter. My old 06' Frontier pulled it alright (was rated for 6000lbs), but had to floor it on some hills to keep it up to highway speeds.

Loving the new gen GM's though!

Default 2014 Silverado bed

While your truck is new with no scratches in the bed you might want to have LineX sprayed. I had the premium done in black because they said it won't fade and is harder. If you mention to the dealer that you saw his internet site he might give you $25 off. (they do in the US)

Its on my to-do list for sure. I'm up in Canada, so I'm waiting for it to warm up a bit to make sure it cures properly - also looking for a tonneau cover if anyone has suggestions. Looking for a hard top as opposed to vinyl.

My Retrax cover broke apart in 3 years.

I use the BakFlip G2 on my truck. Very sturdy, I can stand on it (useful for cleaning bugs off the trailer at the campground) and it will fold up against the back of the cab leaving the whole truck bed open.

BakFlip G2

Have had it on for going 4 years now and still holding up quite well.
