you might want to check out thhis link, a few people chimed in, you should get the general concensus.
you failed to mention what year MDX it is. from 2001-present there have been a lot of upgrades and HP/TQ ranges from 240/245 to 300/275

I would say based off the 4500 towing capacity, it would be pushing it. A X160 would be better as far as weight. Also, I think Acura reduces the towing capacity for non-boats like Fun Finders because of wind resistance and added stress. Although a flatbed trailer wouldn't seem so much different from towing a boat depending on what was on it.
