Default best Brake Controller for 189FD - what brand do you use?

Hi all,
just wondering what brand/type of brake controller are you using for your Funfinders please... we have no prior experience with electric brakes/brake controllers..but will get a Proportional type, and we will need to have one that easily transfers from one tow vehicle (Toyota Hilux 4WD - manual) to our other (Holden Commodore SV6 - auto)... thanks in advance for your advice

I have a Prodigy P3 which I really like. It's got way more features than I'll ever use but I got it on sale for a pretty good price. It would be pretty simple to move between 2 vehicles as it clips into a mount so it's easy to take out/install.

I got a prodigy 2 and I really like it. Gives you a mount to easily transfer to a different vehicle. Just need to buy a second mount and pigtail for you second TV.

I have the Tekonsha P3 brake controller that functions great!

Simple to install and set. The instructions that come with it are easy to understand and follow.

Check it out:

The tekonsha P3 is a good bank for you buck and can be used with trailers up to 4 axle with brakes on all axles. I have one in my vehicle and have bought the same thing for other family members. I tow trailers for a living and this is the best controller I have found. It also helps diagnose problems with the braking systems.
