Default Jeep GC and FF 210uds rx

I will be picking up my FF 210 next week. The tow vehicle is a Jeep GC 6 cyl rated @ 5000 towing capacity. I've been looking on ETrailer and trying to make a hitch choice. I'm leaning towards the Pro Series w/friction sway control 10,000/750. However, I'm open to Rx.
Also, just to confirm, the FF has a 2" ball?

I would check on your ball size before you by a hitch as ours is a 2 5/16" ball. Not sure what yours would be though.

Default best wd hitch

Look at the Blue Ox WD hitch, I just did 7,400 miles pulling a F210uds, with a Yukon.
No sway the whole trip. Had 30 mph winds, no sway. The Blue Ox is a little pricey, but worth the money.

The Hensley Hitch is supposed to be the real 'cats meow' of weight distributing hitches on the market but rather expensive.

I have an Equal-i-Zer and find it works great and no sway in winds or when semis pass on the interstate highways.

Default hitches

Hi,

I am not an expert, but I would do some checking before buying a hitch rated at 10,000/750. for your application. There are some downsides to such a stiff hitch on a lighter trailer, which may be why many manufactures also offer a 6,000 or 8,000 rated hitch. Others may want to weigh in here.
