Default WD hitch install vs. propane tank location

My wife and just ordered a new FFX 189FBS. I'm trying to figure out which WD hitch with sway control to buy. I'm zeroing in on the Equal-i-zer 600/6000 lb model, or the Reese SC model with the friction pads. Pictures of the campers with the propane tanks on them look like the tanks are right where the hitch brackests would need to be. I know the brackets can be adjusted a bit, but from pic's it seems like there's no room. Oh, and is the A-frame of the FFX trailer 6" or 3"? I think the hitch comes with 6". Any good advice?

I just got a new Reese dual cam set up hooked up to our trailer, and indeed the propane tanks were in the way for the brackets, what the installer did, they just took the propane bottles off, and moved the plate where the bottles sit on forward, that thing is just screwd on to the a frame with selftapper screws,I tought it would have been welded on.
I'm sure yours would be screwed down as well, just move it foreward.

Thanks for the info, jeepcruiser. I guess it's one time that something not being welded turns out to be a good thing!
By the way, do you happen to know what the height of the trailer tongue frame is? I think it's 6" but need to check.

I have a 189FDS and use a BlueOx swaypro. And yes, I too needed to move the propane tank 'pan' a couple of inches for the WD hitch bracket clearance.
