No big plans now. But was curious as to whether they sold theirs. When we upgrade it will most likely be to go full time, not just to another bigger rig. I miss the trailer a lot. And also some of the things we forgot to take out before putting it in storage. Lol!

Hahaha! You are doing a great job yourself making it yours on your own. So many on here have great ideas. Paul wants to put some 2x4's between the steel trusses down the center of the undercarriage for more rigidity. I just want to remove some of the excess things we don't use...including the tv and bracket. We could use that space in a better way.

Our little rig has extra floor bracing installed by the PO. I would encourage that project, no squeaky and very solid feel.

Good for them. Yes, something very doable as well.

Do the 2008's have a sealed underbelly? What about insulation? I noticed the 2009 brochure shows a wrapper underbelly, block foam side walls, block foam ceiling, R7 fiber in floor. I don't see any mention in 2007-2008 brochures. I don't winter camp but might camp early spring or late fall. Plus don't want critters getting in underneath.

Our 2008 189fbr has the fresh water tank above the floor but the black water and gray water tanks are beneath the floor underneath the frame. It doesn't have ducted heat under the floor. I would consider it a pretty warm weather camper. We camp in spring and fall. Use the propane furnace or the oscillating electric. Didn't worry about freezing since we haven't camped in below freezing temperatures for days at s time.

Hi Jamiko, welcome to the forum...
I have a 2008, FF XT-190 Xtra; this is a Toy Hauler and seems to have a pretty stiff frame already. As far as insulation and... The walls and ceiling are insulated, but I don't think there is much, if any in the floor...
I will also say that, in mine anyway, the roofing material was NOT RUBBER, it was a vinyl like material similar to a table cloth (And yes, it was a factory 2008 install)... quite thin and even had the cotton/fabric backing... I developed two leaks, that I couldn't see, toward the front that allowed water in and the fabric wicked the moisture in like a straw... The roofing needed replacement and about 4' of the roof decking and bedroom interior due to rot.
Make sure you inspect the roof and trailer with a fine toothed comb and get an expert to look it over; If you have to replace the roof, it will make a "bargain" trailer seem very expensive...
Remember, Buyer Beware...
I hope you find the right trailer and love it as much as we do ours...
