Default Searching for a Unicorn....189 FBS 2015 with front cap

If anyone in Canada has one of these for sale, please contact me: 2015 or later 189 FBS (FDS?) with the solid fiberglass front cap (no window). I think they are as rare as unicorns and I have been scouring ads forever.

Or a FF Xtreme Light 19RBS.

Looking to upgrade from my well loved 2006 FBR 189.

Thanks!

The one in the photo is the FDS or “Funfinder Dinette Slide-out”. The FBS is “Funfinder Bedroom Slide-out)

I have a 2014 FDS we’ve been considering selling but it doesn’t have the molded fiberglass front.

Word of warning- On our FDS, which has the refrigerator in the slide-out like in your photo, Cruiser RV had installed a model of Dometic refrigerator that was not compatible with an upper wall vent (unlike a traditional install that has a roof vent). It wasn’t venting enough and wouldn’t hold a safe temperature when the weather was in the 80’s.

I had to replace my refrigerator to get it to vent properly - and this model works perfectly. Cruiser wouldn’t provide any support even though it was a negligent design defect on their part. The Dometic installation manual clearly states the venting limitations for the model, which Cruiser ignored.

For the record, the original refrigerator works perfectly for our friends, who have a roof vent in there trailer install.

Thank you - It looks like you are in the USA. Border is still closed to non essential travel

When you find your Unicom- keep an eye out for refrigerator venting.
