Want to purchase a Fun Finder 189... I think
Hi. I am in Milwaukee, WI. I am interested in purchasing a trailer set up for one or two people, with a Honda Pilot as the tow vehicle.
I'd certainly be interested if someone has one for sale.
Chad

My advice would be to look for a 139 -- we have owned two of them for the last 12 years and have towed with a Tacoma. A Ridgeline would be fine, too.

We tow our FF189FBR with a Toyota Highlander, so if a Pilot is comparable you should be fine. Just remember that if you get a 189 with a slide out you are adding 300+ pound to the trailer and 100+ pounds to the hitch.

We towed our 189 with a Jeep Liberty. Worked fine. Sold it in the spring to get s larger fifth wheel to accommodate our three dogs.

We have towed our fun finder 189 fbr with a Honda Pilot (towing capacity 4500#) for the past 8 years. Have driven the Alaska Highway and all through Alaska as well as over the passes in Colorado without a problem. Unfortunately, Cruiser RV does not make this trailer anymore.

Wow! Quite a testimonial! I think the dry weight of our 189 was 2700 pounds. We loved how we could park it just about anywhere. Good little trailer!

I have a 160x in MI, I just put it in fairground barn storage for winter, but could get it out for a fee if you wanted it. I offered one person to buy it while it was in there and then they can come get it in the spring. You could always come look at it, but we'd have to make an apt to do so. Again for $200 from Oct -April it's so worth it to get it in asap for me. PM me if you want to know more, it is listed here also

I will be selling my wonderful, much modified Fun Finder X 189 FBR early next year when we come back from California. If you would like to see some pictures I have some on my blog click here - Wacky Pup Blog. If you have an idea of how much you think it's worth let me know!
Thanks in advance,
Liz
