Default 2007 Fun Finder 189FBS

Hello, I am a first time buyer and looking at a 2007 Fun Finder 189FBS. I have read some mixed reviews however I know there is good and bad in all. Was wondering if anyone has had experience with the 189FBS they can share. I want to make sure my wife and I have our first experience with a travel trailer be a good one. Any feedback is appreciated!! Thank you!

I think you'll be pleased with it. Most of the issues I've read about were with newer models.

I'm not sure anyone can really answer that. Hard to say what could go wrong (or not) with a 10 year old trailer. The biggest thing will be whether the prior owners have kept up on maintenance. I'd recommend getting a checklist, there's plenty available that a google search will turn up, here is one example:
RV Pre-Purchase Checklist
And use it to got through the trailer you're looking at.

Most important is to check roof for leaks and soft spots.. Get on the roof if you can. Also check the ceiling and interior walls for water marks and check the front pass thru for water damage.

a just bout a 2005 Fun Finder 189FBS also first time travel trailer owner .. mine needs some work but i wanted to work on for the next 2 months so i guess it's all right ... got mine for $1700 plus extras total of $2000 (remember it needs outside work)

they wanted $4200 .

Take your time and buy one that you really like (and that is in good shape)

The 2007s have a flat roof, not curved like later models. The front window and front roof can have leaks. On YouTube the people on the blog Pure Living for Life have been living in a 2007 for s couple of years now in Idaho. But theirs is in s tent with an added shed with woodstove connected. As far as I know they had no complaints.
The way the previous owners maintained and stored it makes a big difference as others have said. It's s crap shoot. Also look for delamination on the front skin.
