Default 94 Shadow Cruiser T-139 Plumbing

We recently bought a 94 T139. We bought it for the weight. I didn't realize that there was no gray water tank. I can live with that as long as I get a site with sewer, otherwise we can't use the sink or shower? I guess that means no boondocking. On our first outing we put our bedding inside the bathroom and when we went to prepare our bed we found out the water had backed into the shower and ruined pillows and so on.
I took off the shower drain screen and installed a rubber sink stopper.
When we bought the trailer there was an adapter on the gray water drain that allowed a garden hose to be connected for draining. The next time we were out (with brand new pillows) we washed the dishes and when draining the sink, the water came out the plumbing vent on the outside of the trailer.
I am losing my enthusiasm for this little trailer and wondered if there is someone out there with similar issues?
Thanks Harlow....
