Trailer Life Magazine Readers Choice awards Equal-i-Zer Hitch the 'Gold Award" based on their readers input for the top of their list of RV products regarding Best Trailer Hitch.

Now, if they could only come up with some ultra-strong space-age material to replace those ridiculously heavy bars (17 lbs. each)...

While we're on the subject of hitches, my "Hitch Grip" arrived this morning so I guess when you pay 50% of the purchase price in shipping, it gets there quickly

I'm only 50% satisfied with it. My drawbar is so long that the added weight extended out doesn't allow proper balance for carrying the hitch in the normal position with the handle facing rearward. It hangs down and the Hitch Grip doesn't grip normally in that position so it's a loose and wobbly affair. If I reverse the Hitch Grip with the handle facing forward, then it seems to work alright. I found it much more difficult to insert the drawbar into the receiver just using the one hand on the Hitch Grip than my old method (one hand at each end). It will work for removal and transport however so I guess it's $32 cost wasn't wasted.
