Default Boom goes the dynamite

5,000 miles or so, five+ years old.
As we were coming into a small town, Lindstrom, MN the trailer wagged and I asked Chryse, "is the wind blowing?" It settled down and we came to a signal, probably 1/4 mile after the wag. Luckily I could see it in the side mirror as we came to a stop.
Took advantage of Discount Tires labor day sale and have 4 fresh ones on. when they come apart, they come apart!

Wow! Any damage to the trailer? What a mess. What did you replace them with?

It pushed the aluminum diamond plate in a little, but it bent back straight and you can't even tell. I got lucky.

I bought the Carlisle Radial Trail HD.

That's good. Glad you were safe and not real damage. Some suggest that Trailer tires be changed every four years no matter how many miles. They have a date stamp. Report back on how you like your Carlisles.

Whew Kafn8td, glad you weren't sailing on a two-way at 75+ like I see some guys doing... I have been visiting Discount Tire for more years than I care to remember... I moved to MN in '14 from Az and checked in at my closest DT and they moved all my records up here... Easy-Peasy...

I have never run Carlisles and hope they are good tires for you!!! Good luck and again, glad no real damage or worse...

the good news is these are "M" rated, up to 82 mph.
