Default break controller

Just purchased a 210wbs fun finder, pulling with a toyota tocoma,
dealer could not install break controller, any one have the combination, truck/trailer with same problem.
Also, when plugging in the seven pin conector plug, it plows a fuse in the truck.
Having the dealer check it out, just wondering if this has happened to any one before and what the out come was.
Had to cancel our first weekend out due to this.

More than likely there is a plug, under your dash down by your foot pedals, you just need to pick up the "pigtail" from an rv place. They should have a plug for a brake controller that goes from the back of your brake controller unit to the plug under your dash. Camping world has a wide variety of plugs for brake controllers for various models and years of trucks/suvs. Assuming of course that your truck is prewired and comes with a tow package. Most trucks these days do.

Once the above is done, you should be just be able to plug in and go. Sometimes some fine tunings of the wiring is needed but it generally isnt too difficult.

Call your local Toyota dealer, they should be able to tell you where the plug is.
