Default Camper storage fees?

Curious what camper storage fees are around the country and how they compare to my local.....either inside storage or open outside storage.

I store my 30' unit in the buildings at the local county fairgrounds. The county rents locked, inside storage space over the winter months.

Which do you use and the cost per month?

Is the fee based on the length of your unit?

Default Storage Fees

I live in the suburbs of Dallas, Tx. Storage fees here run around $100/mo for paved open storage in a gated monitored facility.

I neglected to include the storage fees here; which are:

The county fairgrounds fee for a camper/motorhome/boat on trailer stored inside is $8.00 per foot.

My XT276 is 30' long so I pay $240 for inside storage.

Storage is from 3rd week in October through 1st week in April ~ basically the 5 months over the winter. That is $48 per month.

Once the unit goes into storage, there is no access until removed from storage in the spring. The county moves the units in/out of the storage building except for a motorhome which the owner mush drive in/out.

The rate was $6.00 per foot but increased to $8.00 per foot about 2 years ago.

I keep my trailer at the house, but I have a boat stored near the lake in covered, locked storage that could easily fit the trailer for $50/mo. A 30 ft trailer wouldn't fit though.

I just spoke to our local place. New building ready end of October. He will store our rig inside for seven months until the end of May for $350. We can get it out earlier if we want to. No money up front. Other places farther away from us were $100 a month.

I also store at the local fairgrounds (OCT-April/May) and it's $12/foot, since mine is a 16' trailer I paid $192 for about 6 months, location southeast michigan

Around the Toronto area, we pay anywhere from about $35 to $60 / month for storage which is typically from November to April (6 months).

Most facilities are farmer's fields or other outdoor locations.

I guess I should have stated local fairground barns, mine is inside out of the snow and ice (which we didn't have much of last year, but the year prior was over 100 inches!) I wasn't taking any chances of damage from snow weight.
