Default Can you beat this?

Just finished winterizing my FF-189FDS today. Our trips totaled 70 nights this year and included about 10,000 miles (I'm guessing a little on the miles, but I think I could support it.). I guess this proves that if she can tolerate me for 70 days/nights in a trailer the size of the FF, a divorce is not in the cards.

Best comment was by a lady walking by who turned to her husband and said, "I don't see how anyone could live in a trailer that small". Heck lady, I don't live in it, I just have fun playing in it.

So, how many nights did you do? can you beat 70?

Nope, can't even come close. I think I've got maybe 12 nights this year. And a few more coming up over Thanksgiving weekend. I would still need another 56 nights to get to 70! There aren't even that many days left in the year!

I've got you covered...but mine was mostly with my son, rather than a spouse.

My mileage was just under 14,500, and I went from June 8th to September 11th, subtracting one week out of there when I had to fly out and back for a couple west coast events. California to Maine, and plenty of points in between.

If you want, you can read about it here...

You got me Guybmoto, but I'm planning a Summer trip to Maine that might just win me the title next year. I'll check your web link for sure.

And, yes, I'm retired which may be an unfair advantage for those who are still paying my Social Security. Keep working guys!

Guybmoto:

Thanks for the link. I enjoyed your pictures and narritive. I didn't know about the lightweightcamper site, but I'm going to become a member right away.

BTW, I've driven over the New River bridge for 25 years and I still get a twinge in the stomach every time I think about jumping off that thing.

Obviously mine was a working trip with a set schedule, so I'm actually a little envious that you can pick and choose where you want to go...and when...and you were still moving at a really solid pace.

I'm sure I've got a bunch more to learn about the trailer, but it's been a blast so far.

And I'll skip the jumping off the bridge part. I don't like one-mistake sports, and have more fun shooting the sports that I like.

Oh, and I do plan on doing it again next summer.
