Default dead battery

I have 2007 XT200 toy hauler.....my battery is being drained by something while in storage..... the battery is less than a year old and holds a charge well.... but when I'm not using the trailer the battery goes dead in about one week..... the only thing I know that is running is just the dash light on the stereo..... anyone else having this problem?

You are also powering your CO detector and depending on your converter you may also be powering your television set (instant on comes at a price...your set is still drawing power despited being off), the same applies to your stereo if the front panel is lit. There should be a battery disconnect on your unit that will effectively isolate the battery from the TT. Unless you are connected to shore power (I'm fortunate that I keep my TT at my home and have RV hookups), whenever you are storing your trailer you should use the battery disconnect to prevent the battery from providing juice to the converter and 12v devices.

I agree with everything 2 cents said, the same would happen to me. I had a solar panel put on roof and now...I've been disconnected from shore power since December 26th and still have life left, thanks to solar. My goal is to get a 4th or 5th night of boondocking> I want to be able to have enough battery to run fan if really hot. I wish I could get rid of the radio use altogether when not on shore power. I would then just have to worry about co, and fridge drain even when on propane. I was impressed my battery went thru the winter..and we had a bad winter.
