Default Don't waist your money

Take it from me,Don't bother wasting your money on a cruiser RV. Been taking a lot of flack from the groupie forum watchers on this site who think I should keep my mouth shut because I am not happy since I bought my RV 17 months ago. they wish I would go away. Looking back I would have done things a bit different in choosing an RV. I have since worked all the problems out and so far have have no more problems with it. Having said that, they all say I should sell it (at a loss) and move on. problem with that I cant't afford another one. So I'm stuck with this one. I have been fixing stuff most of my life and I think most people would have problems doing repairs to a shabby trailer Who normally don't do that type of work. Next time you are at a dealer looking at RV'S ask to see a 189fds and have a look how they designed the cabinet where the back of the electric box is and the out side shower is located. That's right. in the same cabinet. most people know that water and electricity don't mix well. It is not only a poorly designed trailer it is put together half ass. As for the bleeding heart groupie forum watchers. If you don't like me saying things like this on this site don't read my posts its that simple. People are looking on this site for info like I did when I bought my crap trailer. I hope this helps you make up your mind. Salty

My mind was made up a long time ago. You're a whiner who doesn't know when to quit.

Don't waist... (snickering)

Default Shifting Focus

You made your point. Moving forward, starting a blog or website about how to shop for an RV would be a helpful outlet for frustration. You could be of help to others before they purchase an RV of any sort. Just sayin'

Picked up our 4 year old used TT3 months ago. The only thing I found wrong was some loose jacks which was easily fixed. I wish the couch and matress were a little more comfortable but its my heavy weight, not the stuffing, thats the problem. We have already spent over 30 nights in the TT and really love the design and quality of our it. If we decide we want bigger down the road I will look at Fun Finders for our replacement. Great trailer.

I've tried to make reasonable comments about the OP's posts, but it's obvious he does want to hear reasonable alternatives to his camper situation. Instead of coming back and responding to folks suggestions, he just starts a new a thread topic to bash cruiser products. We get it....you don't like the camper.

The amazing part about this story to me is that he wants to even keep the thing. Most folks that dissatisfied with something just want to be rid of it.
That's all I'm going to respond to. I'll take your advice Salty.....I will just ignore your posts from here forward

Don't anyone waste your time responding to saltynuts.

There is no way on Gods' green earth he will ever be satisfied.

Default Happy Camper

I suppose with any brand of trailer there are "lemons". I only can attest to my own experience.
We've just returned from a 10,000 + trip to Alaska and are still very happy with our 2006 189 FBR.

Default 189fds

we have been pretty happy with our trailer as well, admit not the Lexus of trailers but it is light weight, good features. I have done several good mods to it, 140w solar panel, went with golf cart batteries nealry tripled amp hours, all LED, insulated under bunk with 1.5" wall foam, modified refer in slide out to reduce the amount of time blower stays on. Don't know Salty but know the type, he won't ever be happy unless he brings everyone else down...

2004 FF T189FBR - loved the damn thing to death! Ole lady traded for a new 22RBDS Radiance. I have nothing but good to say about the Fun Finder! It was a well built trailer, anything that needed fixin was from wear and tear or user abuse! And saying that, the Dealer we traded it to stated it was a fine trailer and he probably had it sold before the documents were signed by us!

Very sorry for your issues with your Fun Finder. Unfortunately your case does not seem to be the norm. We too have a 2008 Funfinder and love it. We had a few small items that were fixed under warranty by Cruiser even though ours was 2 years old when we purchased it from a dealer.

Default I am sure Salty is sincere, but he may be atypical

Just to add to the chorus -- we bought a used 2003 FF 139 in 2005 -- we then used it a lot -- we took good care of it and then sold it for a nice price to a private party.

We then bought a new 2012 X 139 and spent 80 nights in it last year and traveled almost ten thousand miles. We will do the same this year.

Is a Fun Finder perfect? No -- almost nothing is. My guess is that a $100,000 Airstream might be better than my $12,000 Fun Finder, just like a Rolls Royce is a better car than a Chevy or a Honda. But in terms of value, I am very happy with my FF.
