This is beginning to sound like a Conan O'Brian bit

Oh, by the way .... did you know that it is impossible to run through a campground ?

It would be incorrect and would have to be said that you can only ran through a campground .....

Because it would be past tents

Oh ..... yes I suppose so.

However ......................

What if the campground only contained Motorhomes and hard sided camp trailers?

What a neat campsite you set up. Years ago we camped with a topper on the truck and a bed in it. Wish we had thought of the screened room. Looks like you are going to keep enjoying your camping with or without a FF.

We've had that shell for over 5 years and this is the third Ram it's been on. Yoly and I made a last minute dash to attend a birthday party in 2012 in Southern California so we took turns driving and sleeping in the back. We made it non stop in exactly 36 hours (both directions). It's been wonderful having a place to lay out and nap no matter where you are when traveling (without a TT that is)

Thanks Dan, high praise from a fellow shutterbug So glad you enjoyed the videos. Even though we don't have a Fun Finder in the shots, I was careful not to include any of our new "off-brand" trailer. I just thought that people here would just enjoy the scenery.

I am a shutterbug, and I enjoy still photos, but my videos are shuddery (pun intended) -- both unsteady and unlovely. How do you get such steady shots and such great lighting and color??

I try and use a good tripod but I don't carry it with me when I have to hike any distance. I've been taking "home movies" for over 50 years so I've developed a technique to hold and pan the camera smoothly (relatively speaking). I always tell friends who are new to video cameras that you can't pan too slowly, only too quickly. Go as slow as you think is right and then reduce that speed by half. I also adjust the camera Zoom settings to the slowest setting. This is inconvenient sometimes when you want to get fully zoomed one way or the other but the end result is a gentle transition that doesn't boggle the brain. Panning and zooming slowly are the most important keys to smooth looking video.

To get good lighting, be in nice sunlight. To get good color, be somewhere colorful. I know this is silly sounding but still fundamentally sound. I have a high quality Canon video camera ($1500 at the time of purchase / on sale at $1100). I bought it largely because of it's low light capabilities as it's much better indoors than my previous Sony ever was. Also as you know from shooting stills, I take about 4 times the amount of video I end up with after editing as I only select the footage that looks relatively good

Reminds me of the in-laws video. Fil panned so fast most of the time that it was hard to figure out who someone was.

They now make feature length movies such as "The Blair Witch Project" that are all shot using the first-person perspective and I simply can't watch that style of production. It almost makes me nausous (like sea-sick) if I have to look at constant motion and rapid movement like that. I've tried carrying a camera and recording a hiking trail at walking pace but it's impossible to hold the camera steady enough no matter how hard I try. It's a bit amazing though, if I put on my bicycle helmet with the GoPro attached and then record at walking pace, it's like a professional "Steady-Cam". Somehow, we've learned to walk and keep our heads relative focused on our line of sight without hardly any unconcious movement

Santa was nice to me this Christmas and got me a flying video camera. This was shot on December 26 and it was 76 degrees at our house. Two years ago, it snowed on the same day. We live on this 39,000 acre lake. It has 128 free standing islands that create a total shore line of over 550 miles. The lake extends down from here another 20 miles. The exceptional weather had the bass fishermen out in droves.
