Greetings Hawkeyecamper!

We don't have the 18' model, but we can say we love our Fun Finder. When I first found this site I was hoping more people used it, and more would continue to use it, posting up experiances and the like, but not yet. I hope people with the 18' model will give some feed back.

Good Luck on your purchase, post up if you get a Fun Finder!

I have the 189 FB model 2008. We like it. It is our first TT, and it seems to deliver what we expected from it. A couple of comments. The TV that came with it is analog only, so next year you will have to either change it with a digital model or get a converter, unless you don't watch TV off the air. I made a little clilp to lock the swinging arm that holds the TV so when traveling the TV stays in place. The other thing I found difficult to use is the queen size bed. The mattress is comfortable and thick, but it is a bear to make the bed. These are little things. All in all a good product for the price.

Hi there!
I agree with the previous members post. I joined and rejoined because not much activity and actually so much time had passed lost my pw! But, I have not lost my love for the Fun Finder. Mine is the 189FBR, light sage green inside, no slide, slide came out the following model year! It has been a perfect first trailer for me. I have been able to take care of it and learn so much more about towing, parking, maintenance, etc. and never be overwhelmed. I have the digital box to upgrade the tv, but since I live in a remote area, I can only get one channel in! I look forward to testing it out on my next trip. This year the refridgerator is taking longer to chill, so I have added a small battery operated fan to help distribute the cold air and it seems to be helping, the dealer told me to be sure to use canned air like you would to clean off your computers keyboard inside the refridgerator panel (exterior) up into the stack to help keep it clear and operating at its best. I have enjoyed modifying the kitchen, removed the border paper and added a poly splash guard looks like diamond plate, as well as, installed a magnetic back splash up the wall behind the stove and it holds the half dozen magnetic spices I cook with the most. This year I was brave and finally cut out an opening along the back of the dinette closest to the entry, then installed a heavy duty stainless steel basket on ball bearing slides, which I keep my tandem wheel locks and tool till I arrive at my campsite, once I have put them between the tandem wheels, I then have a place to put shoes and flip flops when we come in the door! What else would you like to know? I am checking into how much more my Commander can tow, because I like the Fun Finder 250 floor plan, I am thinking down the road if I become a granny! I hope they keep the white cabinets, I will never tire of them, or the stainless fixtures and appliances. This one is a perfect fit for now.
