Default Gas stove low flame

The flame on our gas stovetop is very low. It’s not high enough to boil water. It worked this morning before leaving for another campground. My husband checked connections outside etc. Any ideas?

First, check other LP appliances to see if they are operating properly.

Furnace is the easiest.

If — the furnace also will not work — then you have narrowed it down to an issue common to the LP supply. Low on propane, bad regulator, tank switch.

If the furnace does work fine — then there is an issue with the stove orifice.

Best, Fred
