Just returned from a week of RV camping in Walker Minnesota. The small RV park we stayed in was very nice, clean and quiet. After the long drive, set up was quick and easy with easy parking on a level site and nearly new facilities including a concrete patio area.
EVERYTHING in the Fun Finder functioned perfectly. One evening we even enjoyed a hard thunder storm with lightning, sharp thunder and a real cloudburst of about 30 minutes duration of hard rain and a short period of light hail. Not a leak anywhere either.
The weather was perfect, in the low 70's and one evening in the low 40's od used the furnace too. Near the end of the week it got into the 80's so used the A/C some too. Put several hundred miles on the Harley cruising the area sightseeing, visited several resorts, ate to much, etc. etc. etc. It's a beautiful area full of trees and eagles.
Drove up to International Falls one day for a very nice drive. Never went into Canada as no passports due to the law passed by our government a few years back.
DO NOT eat at the mexican resturant in Walker MN. Wife got food poisoning or something as sick after eating there. I did fine but we did not eat the same thing.
We drove about 1,000 miles to/from and the pickup got 11.49 MPG so was pleased about that. The Harley averaged 44.6 running thru the area sightseeing without using the cruise control. So glad I got the DynoJet Power Vision tuner in Sturgis this August.
Another nice thing about the area is Premium Fuel WITHOUT THAT CRAPPY ETHANOL added is available.
Looking forward to another outing in the near future.
ALSO ~ met/saw hundreds of campers to/from and while there in a great number of RV campgrounds. Did not see a single Fun Finder anywhere.
