Default Is the bed comfortable in a 139?

I'm looking at buying a 139 model and wonder how comfortable the bed is once converted from the table. I haven't had a chance to see one in person, yet, and prefer to find a used one. But generally, are the cushions that comfortable or do people put a mattress pad, or something similar on it? Or have people put on thicker cushions after a few years of use? I want to be sure I will be comfortable and think I will have trouble telling after just lying on the bed for a few minutes.

Thanks... Jenny

We have a Cikira 13CC and the cushions are more comfortable than most hotel/motel beds. That said, it is not as comfortable as our pillow top mattress at home. Regardless, I am a pretty finiky (sp?) sleeper and have easily spent a week on the camper bed.

I have an older 139 and find the bed comfortable. Of course it is not as comfortable as my bed at home, but that is to be expected.

That being said, I did purchase a foam topper to use over the cushions this past season. Wasn't a huge investment and the wife says she sleeps better.

Default Mattress topper

I just bought my T160 and the previous owner made a foam mattress topper for the bed. I have not sleep in it yet myself but they said the bed was comforable. They made the topper because they fell thru the mattress cracks.

Default Comfort for Sleeping

My wife and I have owned our T-139 for two years and have around 100 nights sleeping on the padding and have found it to be quite fine. The 5" high density foam has held up very well to date. They do recomment changing the placement of the pads each night in order to get even wear. Hope this helps!Q
