That's a good-looking setup. How does the Tacoma do with it? I've got the 18-footer, and I'm not sure I'd want to go bigger for the distances that I cover.

I'm also curious about your solar setup. I'd love to do something similar on mine.

the Tacoma does a fine job, we added airbags to help with the sag, didnt really need it but we load up the bed also with ice chest and wood and our 2 EU2000i's with extended fuel !

I did airbags in the rear on mine, too. But I'm also doing between 14,000 and 17,000 miles per summer. Not all roads are created equal.

So I'm curious ... what do you do out in the desert/rocks and sand? I only ask because I'm used to lots of grass, trees and maybe a lake nearby.

We did some Rock Climbing, Indian Cove is famous for that, Plus to kill time we make babies ! LOL

Well, the rock climbing doesn't appeal to me at my age 'cause if one slips and falls, things don't heal so quick anymore. As for time to kill, sounds OK to me.
