Default Ky Dan Checked in

I went to Ky Dans Website, left a message and he responded. He and Dan S. were very influential in me getting my FF16, and like Dan S. and you other senior members here helped so many of us . HH

Greetings!
It's been a long time since I've posted here in the FF group! One reason is I now own SOB.
(Some Other Brand) And I occasionally moderate at SOGs (some other groups)
We slowly moved up to larger rigs after our original 16' FF.
We started with a pop up.
Then a 16' FF
Than a 18' FF
Then a 24' Rockwood
We now have a 29' ball to bumper EverGreen Ever Lite.
It has one huge 4' deep slide in the main cabin and a huge bathroom.
Really- the bathroom sold it. 2 people can be in there with no problem.
Also the queen bed is full length not "camper length".
It's still relatively light for it's size weighing in at about 5600. At least I can still pull it
comfortably with my 04 Silverado 5.3 L v8.
It also has high ground clearance- no worries about dragging it's tail or plumbing.
We're comfortable staying a month or 2 in this one and that's our hope.
We love Kentucky in the Spring and Fall, summer isn't bad most of the time.
Winter not so much....

We still have camping and basic trailer appliances and travel tips in common!
This is not my final sign off but posts have been pretty far apart here in the FF group for some time.
Where have you all gone??

We had our MOST memorable longest trip "out West" due to wonderful advice from folks here on
this group! We saw places in Utah, Colorado and even Kansas that we would NOT have ever
thought to visit were it not for people right here on this group!

Why don't you old and new folks just sort of check in??
Where are you?
What trailer do you have?
Where are you camping/traveling lately?
Are you retired or gainfully employed??

I won't be able to reply for a while as we're bugging out soon but I promise to check in when we
get back!

Happy Trails!!
KentuckyDan & Rita

Wow!! Great to hear from him! Did you let him know that most of us from the old Yahoo group have migrated over to this site? The old Yahoo group was great, but the discussion software got very hard to use when Yahoo "improved" the format.

I asked him to consider participating over here but he seems pretty busy.

.
.

Great to hear he's still out there and kickin'.

Like others, he and Dan S were HUGE influences on my camping experience.

Then, ultimately I lost KYDan, but gained George, who continues to pound his motto into my head - SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED!
