Default Leaking slide out on 2009 Fun Finder xtra xt205 toy hauler

Our new to us camper's slide out is not level which allows rain water to leak into the top of the slide when it is closed. The RV repair man was not able to level the slide completely so it is still a bit low on the side toward the front of the camper. He said the gaskets were still good but did replace the rubber foam seal around the edge of the slide. He also adjusted the slide so it would close tighter.

It still leaks! When closed, water is getting in along the top of the slide, running down the side, exiting camper at bottom corner of slide. Sometimes there is a small puddle on the camper's floor.

We are going to try adding another section of rubber foam seal. We are brainstorming how to use a narrow pool noodle or rubber foam pipe insulation sleeve in some way.

We discussed adding a slide awning/topper but the RV folks say it won't work right and will actually cause the rain water to run back toward the camper causing more/worse leaking.

Is anyone else having this issue? Do you have any ideas? At this point, I wish the slide was not on this camper.

Thanks!
