Default Need help to get started

Hi, Dave from Newberry, FL
Decided on a fun finder signature 265KIRB, but not sure if I can pull it with my 2014 F150
2WD short bed 3.5 ecoboost with trailer tow package.
Anyone out there pull with this truck?
Any help would be very appreciated. The sales guy says no problem, but with the weight ratings and safety percentages, I'm not sure.

This might be helpful in your calculations. Tongue weight is very important. Also the type of terrain you are likely to encounter. And remember that your holding tank's contents can be a variable as much as the equipment you add. The last link talks about your truck.

The info above gives good insight.

Also, remember the mfg trailer weight is a 'dry weight' and does not include the weight of the battery, propane, accessories added, etc.

You are wise to question the sales person as had one try to sell me a unit and stated it was under the weight maximum for my pickup & would pull it fine. He was correct as long as the unit was as delivered from the factory and totally empty!

I'm so glad I checked before making a hasty purchase based on the sales persons word along.

More food for thought on towing with your particular truck.
