Default Need to purchase new 30amp power cord.

I have a 2008 Fun Finder X230DS and one of the male prongs on the cord is burnt and a little melted at the base. I used it this past weekend and it works but would feel better getting it replaced. I purchased the trailer used so not sure what caused it to do this in the first place.

I can find cords on line but by reading the reviews it seems that not all 30 amp twist locks with the threaded connector where it connects to the trailer are all the same. I live about 1.5 hours from a good place to buy parts so I want to get it on line but know that I am buying the right one.

If anyone knows where I can buy one (preferably with part number) that will for sure work with my trailer I would appreciate the info.

Thanks
TX Harley Rider

Camping World carries this one:
30 Amp Locking PowerCord Plus RV Cordset - 25' - Marinco 25SPP.RV - Electrical Cords - Camping World
If you're a Good Sam member you can get a discount. Or you can take the part number and shop around on Amazon.

That's the one I bought to replace my original. Much easier to attach than the standard "screw-on" fitting of the original.

I preferred a whole new cord set to replace the one I have but instead opted to buy just a male plug replacement that I can wire into the existing cord. Based on my beer budget that worked best for me right now.

Campers World Part# 33984 ($19.07)

A wise choice as a frugal person repairs or improvises as need be. Far to many throw away perfectly good products rather than repair them to serviceable operation.

The "marketers" prefer a belief in a "throw away world" to enrich themselves....IMO.
