Enjoy the quiet while it lasts!! My surf report site says that the water up where you are is at 65, which is unusually warm -- is that true?

Haven't been in yet, but I've seen quite a few people in without wetsuits. Pretty calm too wish I brought my kayak.

Our adventure seeking Shadow Cruiser 18.5 earlier today having fun on the scenic dirt roads of world famous Dinosaur Provincial Park, near Brooks, Alberta. Its a Unesco World Heritage Site with spectacular scenery and a beautiful campground. We lucked out with a very shady private site, it was a balmy 32 degrees today which is very hot for Canada. Our AC was on full blast for most of the day, even being parked in the shade under big old trees.

Mid-November, 2018, at around 7500 feet, near Tioga Pass. There was no one camped near us for several miles around – the campgrounds were all closed, the forest access roads were very rough, and the night-time temps were in the teens. Tioga Road closed due to snow two days after we left this campsite:

This is a shot from the middle distance – the trailer is on the left. We had this entire valley to ourselves – several days of utter silence, which is one of the main reasons that we boondock:

And this shot was taken from a quarter mile away – the trailer is in the lower left corner. That is Parker Peak (I think) in the background. There was a little haze in the air from the terrible Camp fire that wiped out the town of Paradise, about 200 miles to the north:

Default Snow day

This is what we woke up to in Banff Alberta Canada one morning. Coldest night in our trailer has been -15 Celcius or 5 Farenheit. Was using the water system with no issues.

March, 2020, near Parker Peak, Calif. -- boondocking in snowy sagebrush:

June 2020, boondocking near Tioga Pass, Calif:

We haven't gone camping since that time -- too much smoke and haze in the mountains.

Default Unintentional Boondocking at State Park

Power, Water, and Septic systems down due to Zeta, but we still have a good learning experience.

Kings Canyon, November 2020. The snow makes it look more adventurous than it was -- this was a campground, and it had been well-plowed, making it easy to get the trailer into the campsite:
