Potential owner now actual owner
Drove 200 miles to the dealer last week and traded our bantam flier for a new 2010 FunFinder 189FDS. She's all tucked away behind the garage and ready to have our stuff loaded.
I've started inquiring about a rear hitch and trying to get the OEM unit from Cruiser through our local dealer. I've looked at the I-beam rails and there are two brackets welded on the ends with 4 holes in them. I assume those are the mounts for the OEM hitch. The problem is that there is a piece of steel across the back, behind the end of the rails, that the stabilizers are bolted to. I would have to cut slots in them to get the hitch plates through and onto the brackets. Anyone done this? How did you make the holes? Pictures, as always, would be best.
I really hate the direct vent furnace. It doesn't have a squirrel cage fan and is extremely noisy. I hate losing a night's sleep so chances are I'll replace that with a ducted one. Anyone want to buy a new suburban NT-16SE furnace. Cheap!
