Default Replacing microwave with convection/micro?

Michigan, if you see this, you probably have the answer.

Where do I get a convection microwave that will fit in that spot and what modifications have to be done to make it fit and operate?

My new trailer has pretty much the same setup as my last trailer: Suburban propane oven/stove and Highpointe microwave vent hood over it.

I had read complaints about the propane oven heating inconsistently, but I guess we got really lucky with the Fun Finder. The oven was a little hard to light but the temperature was just what was on the dial. Not so with our new trailer. This one runs hot and seems to get hotter the longer it is on. It's really hard to bake anything without burning it.

Check on venting. The convection may require more venting clearances than just a microwave.

Marti, this is where we got the convection microwave that fit the space in the Funfinder perfectly. Sadly we don’t have the same depth for installation in the Shasta. We could build the front of the cabinet out to make one work. These people were good to deal with.

Thanks MichiganTraveler. Did you have to make any modifications to install it?

Nope, none. All he had to do was remove a piece of wood on one side and one piece on the top that the factory had installed to make the original microwave fit. Then he connected it and slid it in.
