Default semi newbie I think

I think I joined before but couldn't remember if I did or not...........

We are from New Caney, TX 40 miles north of Houston. Just wanted to come by and say Hello and Happy Thanksgiving. We are camping at Goose Island close to Rockport, TX.

Jim and I bought a used 14' Fun Finder Shadow Cruiser about 6 or 7 mths ago. Looks and smell brand new....... Love it except having to make up the bed every night. We are now looking at a 16' with the bed in front.

Later...........Happy RV'ing

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.
We are in cold and rainy (snow last week) Washington.
One of these days we may get to TX, but it is a long drive.
We are new to travel trailers, the Fun Finder is our first. We've had it out only a few times, but have had a good time.
The folks on this site (and others) are very helpful and have been a great help for us as newbies.
Are you retired, or are you headed back to work tomorrow?

Hi Bob and Muriel....

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply.

Not lucky enough to be able to retire yet. Still love RVing. In fact we are having so much fun we bought a 2006 18' FF Front Bed so we don't have to make that infamous bed every night. We will be selling the 14' FF for $6000.00.

I noticed the windows in the 18' aren't tinted like the 14' FF. I will be going to WalMart and buying some of the static cling window tint tomrrow.

Have a Happy New Years.

Marigold: Good morning and Happy New Year.
Congratulations on the acquisition of the 18 footer. The front walk around bed in the 210 WBS was a big selling point for us.
We are in for a cold but sunny day today........time to take down the Christmas lights and get ready for the new year.
I finished up a project last week so I'll be on the hunt next week for a new gig to bring in a few bucks.
We too are still working
Have a great weekend.
