Default Slide out

What year did the 189fbs go to the larger tip out
And was there any problems with it like motors or leaks

Sorry Man - guessing a slow time of year for staying current on the FF forums. If you're asking about those weird slides with the middle-mounted slide "arm" being a tip out (because I guess they tip out at the top?) Anyways, friend has a 2010 210 with a slide like that. Mine is a 2012 210 with the lippert type slide? So I'm guessing somewhere around 2011?

Personaly I’ve never seen a 189xxx with a tip out, only slide outs. The 189FBS I believe has a lager slide out than the 189FDS and the Shadow Cruiser equivalent has a less expensive slide out mechanism.

As far as tip-outs - not a clue.

Default Okay okay

Looking for a building to jump off they used to all be called tip outs. Okay so 2011 just asking because the larger "Slide out" seems to give substantialy more room if you have the table up
So has anyone heard of any problems with l roof lleaking or slide motors going bad and is there an ability to use a manual option if the motor fails?

By the way the bldg i have chosen to jump off of is my shed. Lol

Tough crowd here.

Default 189fds

I have a 2011 189FDS It has the slide where the fridge and dinning table slide out as the 189FBS has the couch that slides out. I have never had a problem with it. Only once did I find water on the floor and I think it happened because the trailer was not level. I try to set it up over winter with the drivers side a little lower then the other side. The FBS version has a nice little spot in it because once you pull the slide out there is a nice little spot where a dog can lay down at the back and she's out of your way. Where the FDS there is no room for a dog if you are inside. Salty

There is xss a manual option. You have to remove the front panel under the sofa, and then look for what looks like a lsrge nut, this is the manual crank, using your own ratchet with a socket to fit
