Default Slideout Question

Just pulled out our 2012 Funfinder X-210WBS for the first time this year and the electric slideout won't slide out. I'm plugged in to 110W power. I press the switch and hear the motor. One side seems to try to slide out, but not the other. I can't see any obstructions. Any suggestions?

I know this sounds silly. But give it some help by pushing on it, more on the side that's not giving. I had this happen to me after a long storage and it was just the seal. It stuck to the slide enough that it wouldn't move on the one side. Once it broke free, it started workin' again. Now I know I should treat & lube those slide seals!

It might run on 12 volt. Try other 12 volt items. If they are out too, it’s a broken ground wire. I had this. Wire was in the box on the tongue near battery connection.

Default Slideout Issue

Thank you for the replies. Turned out that mice had chewed through the wiring on one side of the slide out. Mice are a never-ending problem for us, ugh!

Been using this. Batteries last 8 months so far. Small. Easy to zip tie anywhere or mount with foam tape.

Best mouse repellent available IMO is Fresh Cab.

Sold at farm and home stores, WalMart ... just google Fresh Cab.

It keeps mice out of tractor cabs, combine cabs etc. and put it in my camper for years, never had a mouse in it.
