Default Sold the FunFinder today

Kinda a bitter sweet day. We bought a new trailer about a month ago - a 2015 Starcraft 26BHS, so now that it's warming up, it was time to list the old shack, since we don't need 2. It was 2006 Funfinder 189FD.

We bought it at a repo auction 2.5 years ago, and it's been more or less great to us since. Only issue we had is the fridge didn't work on A/C, but worked great on propane - wasn't an issue for us since we never camped with services anyways. Small leak in a window and ended up replacing that seal with the butyl, plus the other window on the same side.

Listed it a week ago, and a guy came and drove off with it this afternoon. Was sad seeing it hooked up to someone else's truck - kinda like seeing your ex wife out on a date. But we got $1500 more than we paid for it 2.5 years ago, so can't complain too much!

I'll probably still creep here occasionally to see if I can offer any advice from what I learned over the last couple of years though. No gripes with the Funfinders, would have bought another one if we found one in a floor plan we loved!

Sorry to see you go, Offspring, but you will probably really like your new TT. Good luck!

Did your trailer go to Olds Alberta by chance?

You MADE money on the trailer? That is amazing -- well done!

I don't think so - he said he was from Edmonton.

Picked it up at a repo auction, so got a pretty good deal on it. It needed some maintenance and a good cleaning, but the only real issue with it was the fridge worked on propane only - not on shore power, but I disclosed that to the buyer.

Great you got a good deal when buying and made $$ when selling some years later.

Enjoy your new 'home on wheels'
