I don't recall ever having taken along any 'canned goods' in the camper other than a jar of jelly or the wife a container of peanut butter....but nothing in cans other than some soda.

The only can opener carried is the P-38 I've had on my key chain since the mid 1960's when in the military.

Iím thinking that you must be in the minority! Who doesnít bring canned beans, various soups and/or vegetables on camping trips?

Apparently in the minority then as don't take canned beans, wouldn't think of taking soup and not a veggie eater.

Breakfast ... pancakes, eggs, bacon & maybe toast...sometimes oatmeal with buttered toast and honey.

Lunch and supper: Beef, potatoes, bread and butter and I'm good!

Nothing beats a good chunk of dead cow. No fake butter either --- real butter only.

Love them! I would’ve never thought about this! Thanks for sharing! Also, I only take cans of food that I know we’ll use for meals.
