Default T-139 no bunk - how to use the space?

The bunk on my T-139 was removed by the previous owner. To me, it seems like it's now totally wasted space. It makes sense to make a shelf (or shelves) of some sort - something to hold bedding and swing and latch up out of the way? Shelves?
Does anyone have ideas of how to reclaim and utilize this space?

We put up a cargo net in place of the bunk -- it holds all of our bedding. The net is the first project described in this blog post:

Dan, you are handy-dandy! (pun perhaps intended) You came up with all kinds of little modifications - and some bigger ones, too, I believe. Thanks for sharing. The cargo net is probably a good plan.

Thanks! I love doing modifications. It beats doing household chores, right?

No doubt! Household chores 'suck'. I'm not sure what they suck - the air out of my tires? the wind out of my sail?
But modifications are SO not in my skill set. I'll have to beg, plead, coerce, or even PAY a friend to help me with what I'd like done. I'm glad they've provided a major bargaining chip for you.
